ગુજરાતી સાહિત્યમાં જોડકણાનુ આગવુ મહત્વ છે. આવુ જ એક સુંદર મજાનુ જોડકણુ આજે અત્રે પ્રસ્તુત છે. ગુજરાતી પરિવારમાં જન્મેલા લગભગ દરેક બાળકે આ જોડકણુ એક વાર તો સાંભળ્યું હશે જ...જો કે આજના અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમમાં ભણતા બાળકોએ કદાચ આ જોડકણુ ના પણ સાંભળ્યું હોય...
વારતા રે વારતા
ભાભો ઢોર ચારતા,
ચપટી બોર લાવતા,
છોકરાવ સમજાવતા,
એક છોકરો રિસાયો,
કોઠી પાછળ ભીંસાયો,
કોઠી પડી આડી,
છોકરાએ ચીસ પાડી,
અરરર... માડી
