આજે મે બ્લોગમાં મોટા ફેરફાર કરવાનો વિચાર કર્યો. મારી પોતાની વેબસાઈટ નોંધાવ્યા બાદ વિચાર્યુ કે હવે બ્લોગ પણ ત્યા ટ્રાન્સફર કરી દઉ. વર્ડપ્રેસ નામનું આજકાલ ઘણુ જાણીતુ સોફ્ટવેર બ્લોગ માટે વાપરવાનું નકકી કર્યુ અને ત્યારબાદ કામકાજ ચાલુ કર્યુ. આમ તો વાંધો કશો આવ્યો નહિ પરંતુ ફોર્મેટીંગ બધુ બગડી ગયુ. જો કે આવનારા થોડા દિવસો માં હુ તમને વેબસાઈટનું નવુ સરનામુ આપીશ.
લોકો કહે છે કે "હિમ્મતે મર્દા તો મદદે ખુદા" હમણા કોઈક પાસેથી સાંભળ્યુ કે "હિમ્મતે મર્દા તો માર ખવડાવે ખુદા"

વર્ડપ્રેસએ સારા આઈડિયા છે. મારા જેવા માટે થોડું અઘરું છે. હું પણ વિચાર કરી રહ્યો છું કે વર્ડપ્રેસમાં કોશિષ કરું. પણ, હજુ માત્ર અખતરા જ કરું છું !

વર્ડપ્રેસમાં સરસ રીતે બ્લોગ ટ્રાન્સફર થઈ જાય છે. પરંતુ બ્લોગરમાં ત્યારબાદ ફોર્મેટિંગ બગડી જાય છે અને ફાયરફોક્ષ બ્રાઉઝરમાં વર્ડપ્રેસ યુનિકોડ બરાબર દેખાતા નથી.
મને કઈક સારો અનુભવ થશે તો જણાવીશ. નેટ પર લગભગ દરેક અનુભવી બ્લોગર, વર્ડપ્રેસને વધારે પસંદ કરે છે. અને મે મારી રીતે રિસર્ચ કરી તો એ વાત સાચી લાગે છે.

I have been using Wordpress for a while now and it is great !! Just to let you know that free version of wordress (wordpress.com and not wordpress.org) is great. I don't have any problems displaying Gujarati fonts (either in IE or Firefox).
I love to use Google products, but wordpress is definately better than blogger.
Shu tame bhashaindia nu indic me use karo che ke pachi any other fonts? I have put a help file for Gujarati bloggers, please do let me have your views on this. As you people are the efficient bloggers on the web, I value your inputs :-)

Frankly speaking, I think in guj but can't write in guj! I wish i cld write like u ppl...lol

I think most of gujarati bloggers use unicode. It is easier and very convinient to type once you get used to it.
I visited your site and your directions about blogging in Gujarati, but overall I think UNICODE is the future and way to go.

I remember you had invited me personally to see this months ago, at the MSU yahoogroup. Am sorry I couldn't do it so far...today I did finally. A very decent attempt to spread the Gujarati blog idea. I am surely going to try wordpress and see if I can manage to post in Gujarati. You're doing a great job, keep it up. Read my blog too.
